Watermelon carvings on The Bachelor?
OK. I hate to admit it but I watched The Bachelor TV show last night. It’s kind of like watching a train wreck. I don’t really want to look but I can’t take my eyes off of it.
It’s like eating junk food. I know it’s not good for me but I sometimes eat it anyway.
At the end of last night’s show they showed a clip of what is coming in next week’s show. The Bachelor and one of the bachelorettes were bathing in a big tub of liquid chocolate. And they had whip cream to play with, too.
Hmmm, now that’s an idea you can recreate at home for your Valentine’s Celebration….
You go ahead and do it. I’ll pass.
Anyway, in the background of this chocolate bathing scene were a few pretty watermelon carvings.
So, there you go..
Watermelon Carvings seen on Prime Time TV’s, The Bachelor
Yeay! It’s about time! I’ve seen watermelon carvings a little on Food Network shows but I don’t think I’ve ever seen watermelon carvings during Prime Time on one of the big networks. This was on ABC.
You can see the clip of the chocolate bathing scene with watermelon carvings by watching The Bachelor on ABCs website or on Hulu.com. Just Google it to find it online. The scene is at the very end of the 5th week’s episode while the ending credits run. The full show will be on next week where you can see the whole scene.
If you want to learn how to carve beautiful watermelon carvings like the ones seen on The Bachelor, you can learn how in my video lessons, Carving Watermelons – Roses, Buds and Leaves.
If you really want to get into carving melons, you will also want to get a Pro Thai Carving Knife, too. Although the carving techniques are the most important part to know, having the right tool for the job does make it easier.
I Challenge You to Make a Photo Like the Scene in the Bachelor
with Watermelon Carvings, Chocolate Bath and and all!
If by some wild chance, for Valentine’s Day, you whip up a chocolate bath with whip cream hair treatment and carve some beautiful melons to put in the shot, sent me a photo. I gotta see that. But remember to keep it clean, no private body parts showing, please. And be forewarned, if you do sent me a chocolate bathing photo with watermelon carvings like to scene in The Bachelor, be forewarned, I WILL post it on my blog for everyone to enjoy!
