Very beautiful demonstration – I did not see the tools he used however, I am filled with inspiration as the new trend has shifted from sending the muffin and mini bundt cake baskets, to the new fruit flower arrangements, etc. This is perfect timing and I want to view them all! Thank you.

Based on the looks of this carving, my best guess is that he used a fruit carving knife. It is possible that some of it was done with a V- cutter tool. I am currently working on producing video lessons for melon carving that will show carving instructions for similar designs as well as other designs. They will most likely be ready for sale in about 3 months. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for your interest.
