This Thai style fruit carving knife with dual blades serves double duty. It’s like having 2 knives in one. It has two blades – one at each end. The caps for each end screw on and serve as the handle when using the exposed blade on the opposite end. One end has a blade that is thinner and more flexible while the blade at the other end is a bit wider and more rigid.

The handle is a round barrel shape. It feels more like holding a pencil than other types of knives which makes it easier to carve find details, curves and zig-zig petals. Its long thin blade is also great for removing the rind around small letters and detailed patterns when carving letters and graphics onto melons.

You will find it convenient, as you carve, to have 2 different style blades to work with.
