The Transfer Paper on this page is still recommended for carving detailed patterns onto juicy pumpkins that bleed when cut.

Our Pattern Transfer Paper makes transferring carving patterns so much faster and than the old methods. Not only does this transfer pattern paper let you get to the fun part – carving – faster, it gives you a more clear, detailed and accurate pattern to follow. In this short video you’ll see how you can transfer a pattern in just a few minutes. I think you will agree that it’s amazing!

Here is How the Transfer Pattern Paper Works

The basic steps are as follows:

1. Each set of transfer pattern paper have 2 sheets. Print your pattern on the the semi-gloss side of the special transfer paper using your inkjet printer.
2. When you pattern is dry, peel the backing off the clear acetate sheet of the transfer pattern paper and stick that sheet to your pattern.
3. Trim the access off your pattern
4. Lift away the clear sheet leaving a sticky adhesive layer on your printed pattern.
5. Attach your sticky printed pattern to your melon or pumpkin.
6. Cover for 2 minutes with a wet towel.
7. Pull away the wet paper leaving your pattern stuck the the surface of your watermelon or pumpkin.
8. Carve your pattern.
