Here are the pumpkin carvings with Halloween themes that were created for the Encinitas Halloween event last year. Even though the event was on Halloween there were so many other different types of pumpkin designs. You can take a look at a lot more carved pumpkins by clicking on any of the categories listed below.
To see more details about this annual Halloween event put on by the city of Encinitas with tremendous help from the Self Realization Fellowship, take a look at another blog article on my site by clicking here. The monks and the members of the Self Realization Fellowship grow and carve most of the pumpkins seen at each year’s Halloween event.
Here are the other blog posts with info and photos from the Encinitas, Self Realization Fellowship Halloween street party.

Halloween Themed Pumpkin Carvings

This haunted house pumpkin carving with a witch flying on her broom was topped off with a purple spider.

Here it is at night. It looks a bit more creepy this way.

Creepy black spider carved onto a white pumpkin

Interestingly, the white pumpkin looks orange when lit from inside with an electric bulb.

This pumpkin features kids in costumes trick or treating.

I love how this one looks at night. It really illustrates the nighttime fun of Halloween.

Mummy pumpkin in daylight

No Halloween celebration is complete without a mummy or two.

This jack-o-lantern pumpkin takes advantage of the natural shape of the pumpkin using the stem as the nose.

It’s ghoulishly cute.
Daylight Halloween Pumpkin Carvings with Halloween Themes
There were so many pumpkins spread out throughout downtown Encinitas that is was impossible to take both daylight and night time photos of all of them Here are some clever looking pumpkins that I did not get night shots of. Still they are cute enough to share. You can tell from the designs that these would look great night or day.
