Pattern Transfer Paper versus Pattern Transfer Fabric

Both the transfer pattern paper and the pattern transfer fabric make transferring pumpkin carving patterns and watermelon carving patterns faster, easier and more accurate than other pattern transfer methods.

How do the Pattern Transfer Paper and Pattern Transfer Fabric differ?

That is what this article and this video are about. We introduced the Pattern Transfer Fabric a couple of years after our Pattern Transfer Paper. Since announcing the new Fabric, people have had questions about how they are different and when to use which one. The following video will answer all of those questions clearly.

When should you use the Pattern Transfer Paper and Fabric?

In a nutshell:

I recommend our newer Pattern Transfer Fabric for most watermelon carving and pumpkin carving purposes because it’s

  • Easier,
  • Faster because it has fewer steps.
  • More economical.
  • Prints using both inkjet and laser printers

I recommend the the Pattern Transfer Paper for:

  • Carving juicy pumpkins and other wet fruits with detailed or complex patterns. (Prints on inkjet printers only.)

The video will show you more details, and illustrate the reasons. So take a look for the full story.
