Big watermelons are coming into season now. And with summer comes all kinds of fun outdoor events perfect for adding logo carved watermelons.
Here are a couple of fun watermelon carvings sent to me by a student/customer of my Carving Letters and Words video lessons, Jim Tanner. He was asked to carve these for a big cycling event last year. (It sometimes take me a while to get around to sharing photos that are sent to me. Better late than never, right?)
My wife and I were asked to cater a VIP tent at a recent
cycling event for 500 bikers. I created two watermelon carvings, one representing the sponsor Rollfast and the other for the logo of the event Gran Fondo. We received many complements and it certainly was a Wow factor for the VIP’s.
Jim Tanner carved the watermelons with logos while Maxine was involved with the catering.
He did a beautiful job didn’t he?
What events do you have that are coming up that could be made more special with logo carved watermelons?
