Valentine’s day will be here soon and so I want to share with you some ideas for Valentine’s Day.
In past blog posts, I’ve shown a ideas for Valentine’s Day that you can use to dress up your Valentine’s Day dinner. You can make roses carved from root vegetable like beets, turnips, daikon or golden beets. You can dress up your table with pretty napkins folded into heart shapes. You can make delicious fresh roasted beet salad. Or, you can take a shortcut by making a your salad with canned sliced beets cut into the shapes of hearts. Another idea for Valentine’s Day – you can make quick tomato roses to garnish your plates.

Ideas for Valentine’s Day Salads
In another article with ideas for Valentine’s Day, I made a recipe and a video showing how to make a delicious roasted beet salad with goat cheese. Mmm mmm. I love how roasting fresh beets brings out the sweetness in them. Combine this salad with you heart folded napkin and top with a rose carved from a beet and you have a really lovely Valentine meal presentation. It will show your loved one that you took the time to do something special. it’s a nice way to say, I love you.

Ideas for Valentine’s Day Garnishes and Centerpiece.
Here is a video with a few suggestions from me for things that you can do with your rose carved beets. Pretty white roses can be carved from turnips and yellow roses can be carved from golden beets.
