A Create n Carve Fruit and Vegetable Event is being held by Nayna at SimplySensationalFood.com. It’s a friendly way for food bloggers and fruit and vegetable carvers to share their carving creations online.
Nayna asked me to participate in her Create n Carve Fruit and Vegetable Event so here is a pretty and easy bouquet made from radishes. I used corrugated U-cutters to cut the radishes into flower shapes and I used a mini-melon baller to cut circles from yellow squash to make the flower centers. Lemon rind can be used as a substitute for yellow squash.
Here are a couple of other ideas where you can use these radish flowers. You can add them as garnishes in a salad. I made more mini-melon balls from radish and yellow squash to create a confetti look to the salad.
Or, you could make tiny flower pots by taking some fat slices of carrot and adding a few radish flowers with toothpicks. Then, place each carrot “flower pot” on the individual plates as part of a place setting. You could even add the name of each guest on a small piece of stiff paper and use these mini flower bouquets as name place holders.
If you would like to see a video showing you exactly how to make this radish bouquet, step-by-step, you can view it by signing in on the form below. You’ll get instant online access to the free video lesson. You won’t be committing to anything, no monthly fees, just the free video. And, I’ll send you other tips, tricks and mini lessons from time to time.
