What a great idea that could be adapted to other plates of food. For a meat platter you could use thinly sliced beef, turkey, or chicken, sliced cheese, cucumbers, roasted veggies like zuchinni squash, yellow squash and bell peppers. Fruit platters could contain sliced melons, kiwi and berries. Let your imagination be your guide.

Done in a larger platter, you could create quite a dramatic centerpiece or buffet display.
